Library Story Times

At Baby Story Time, we will share stories, songs, finger plays and rhymes that help children gain pre-reading skills and develop a love of reading. No registration, just drop in. 

Stay for Sensory Play from 11:00 am - 11:30 am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, featuring toys meant to engage babies through touch, movement, or sounds.

Join us for an outdoor story time where we walk, read, and enjoy nature.

We'll be walking around the library going over a story and exploring the area around the library.  No registration required, drop ins welcome. Please meet at the front entrance to the Poirier branch to join. This program is weather dependent; please check the website or social media accounts for cancellations.

In partnership with Tri-Cities Pride Society and the Evergreen Cultural Centre.

Join us for a special family story time to celebrate B.C. Day, followed by family-themed activities in the rooms. For kids aged 0-6 and their caregivers. No registration, just drop-in.

At Korean Story Time, we will share picture books, songs and rhymes that you can enjoy with your children. For families with children ages 0 - 5. No registration, just drop in. After the Korean Story Time, there will be a 30-minute playtime within the room.

For caregivers with kids aged 0-5. Welcome to Mandarin story time where we have fun reading stories, singing songs, doing fingerplays and moving to music.
