In-Library Access

1. Connect to the Library’s WiFi on your device, or use a Library computer.
2. Click on the Go to New York Times button below or visit nytimes.com.
3. Click on Log In.
   • If you're logging in for the first time, create a password and click Create Account.
   • If you have an account, enter your password and click Log In.
4. If you’re prompted to subscribe, click Continue without subscribing.

Go To New York Times

The NYT News App is not part of the in-library experience. Redeem a 72-hour access code (see “Off-Site Access” below) to access the NYT News App from anywhere.

Off-Site Access

1. Click on the Redeem an Access Code button below.
2. Next to New York Times, click on Login required - click here and enter your library card number and PIN.
3. Click on New York Times. You will be redirected to an access code.
4. Click Redeem.
5. Enter your email address and click Continue.
   • If you're logging in for the first time, create a password and click Create Account.
   • If you already have an account, enter your password and click Log In.

Redeem an Access Code

The access code you redeemed will be valid for 72 hours and extends to your account on The New York Times app. When it expires, follow the steps above to redeem a new code.

New York Times Audio

Get access to podcasts, narrated articles, and other exclusive content on the New York Times Audio app. Only available for Apple iOS devices.  

1. On your Apple iOS device, go to the App Store.
2. Search for NYT Audio app and download.
3. Ensure you have already followed the Off-site Access procedures above to redeem an access code.
4. Login to NYT Audio app with your email address and unique NYT password.
