Immersive Reality Books
Have you ever wanted to swim with a great white shark, walk on the moon or explore the galaxy? Immersive reality (IR) books can bring topics to life using virtual and augmented reality technology.
IR books and goggles can be borrowed separately. Loan period for both items:

14 days with up to 2 renewals
- Maximum 2 IR books and 2 goggles per card
- Renewals are only available when there is no one waiting on the holds list
What you need
- One or more IR books
- One set of VR goggles
- A smartphone with the IR Books app from the App Store for Apple devices or from the Play Store for Android devices
Getting started
- Start reading!
- At three different points in the book, you will come across a QR code which will activate a related Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality experience.
- Choose SCAN, then center the QR code in the box. The experience related to this book will automatically download.
- Choose HEADSET if you have VR goggles. Let the experience begin!
