    From Jan. 20-28, there may be an increase in traffic and noise at City Centre branch due to construction on Glen Drive. Plan your visit accordingly or for silent study space, visit Poirier branch. 
    As of 10:00am, the Henderson Mall entrance will be blocked due to glass replacement. Access to City Centre can be found off Pinetree Way.

Spread a Little Joy & Happiness

Holiday Hello

The Library is connecting our communities during this unusual holiday season by spreading a little joy in the form of a Holiday Hello.

The Library is inviting children to write a Holiday Hello that we can share with a senior in the community. A Holiday Hello can be a holiday greeting, well-wishes or an art project that the Library can include in care-packages.

The Library is delighted to support seniors in our community throughout the year through our services and our partnerships with community organizations that serve seniors. We will be sending your Holiday Hellos to seniors that are registered customers of these services.

Children and families can drop off contributions at either City Centre or Poirier branches or the Library Link. To learn more, please visit our project webpage.

We acknowledge with gratitude and respect that the name Coquitlam was derived from the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (Hunquminum) word kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) meaning “Red Fish Up the River”. The Coquitlam Public Library is honoured to be located on the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm traditional, ancestral and unceded lands, including those parts that were historically shared with the q̓ic̓ əy ̓ (Katzie), and other Coast Salish Peoples.
