Volunteer Opportunities
Get involved with Coquitlam Public Library
Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community. At Coquitlam Public Library, we appreciate our customers' desire to give back to our organization. At this time, we are unable to provide volunteer opportunities for adults at the Library. We do have a number of opportunities for students in grades 8–12 to support the Library and community.

Homework Help Club
Returning in 2026
Volunteer your time in this student success program that pairs Big Buddies (grades 8–12) with littles (grades 1–6) to support their educational goals.

Parlez-Nous en Français
Learning languages is always easier with friends! Virtual and in-person sessions available.

Reading Buddies
Share a love of literacy as a big buddy (grades 9–12) by helping a young reader (grades 1–4) improve their reading, and discover their new favourite story.

Teen Advisory Council
Volunteers plan and deliver programs for youth, and provide guidance on Library services, while earning community hours. Open to students in grades 6–12.
