Partner With Us

We are looking for programs that:

• Further the Library’s mission, vision, goals and objectives of our strategic plan.
  • Our Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Strategic Plan
• Align with our values of inclusion, openness, love of learning, respect, and curiosity.
• Develop and strengthen our community by building relationships between individuals and the Library, community organizations and the Library, and between individuals and community organizations.
• Enhance Coquitlam's economic, social, and cultural richness.
• Increase awareness of Library services.

The topics we consider for partner programs generally fall into these areas:

• Truth & Reconciliation
• Events that spark dialogue or build community
• STEAM Skills
• Arts & culture
• Local relevance

All partner events must be free and open to the public.

While we welcome ideas from everybody, we receive a lot of proposals and are unable to offer them all. Our selection process takes into account the library’s strategic plan, partnership policy, and organizational capacity.

Please keep in mind that the library generally plans programs several months in advance. For example, a program proposal that is received and approved in January may not actually be delivered until June.
