BC Summer Reading Club

This year's theme is Explore the Universe! Kids from birth to grade 5 can read on their own, with a friend or with a parent. 

Track your reading in the Summer Reading Club booklets. Complete your booklet to earn a medal and to enter into the grand prize draw for a chance to win 1 of 2 Sphero robots. 

Participate online using the new Summer Reading Club website or using a traditional reading record available a Library branch.

Middle Schoolers Only Summer Reading Club

Read, review and win! This club is exclusively for students finishing grades 5, 6, 7 and 8. Read books and submit online reviews for a chance to win prizes.

Each review counts as an entry for our prize draws, including gift cards and 2 grand prize gift baskets with items from local businesses.

No registration required. To participate, submit a review through our online portal.


Adult & Teen Summer Reading Club

Summer is for adventure, escape, romance, and travel – all of which can be enjoyed through a good book. Choose books from any genre, in any language and format and submit online reviews for an entry in our weekly prize.

Each review counts as an entry in our grand prize draw for 1 of 3 gift baskets filled with items from local businesses.
