The Scary Story Contest is a partnership between Coquitlam Public Library, Port Moody Public Library, and Terry Fox Library (member of Fraser Valley Regional Library).


Entries welcomed between Sept. 1 and Oct. 19 at 11:59 pm. Prizes are gift cards to Coquitlam Centre Mall. First prize value is $50, second prize value is $30, and third prize value is $20 in each age category. Chances of winning depend on the number of entries and skill level of participants. Winners will be notified by phone or email by October 28 and can collect their prize from a local library. Winners forfeit unclaimed prizes after 3 months from notification. No purchase necessary. You are providing your name and contact information to Coquitlam Public Library, Port Moody Public Library, and Terry Fox Library. This information will be used for contacting winners. Winning stories will be published – along with winners’ names, ages and cities of residence – on the Coquitlam Public Library, Port Moody Public Library, and Terry Fox Library social media and/or websites.
